KITCHEN DINER EXTENSION
This Victorian terraced house had a pokey kitchen arrangement in the Edwardian tenement extension. We built a timber-framed lean to extension on the side of the tenement and knocked through to create a new large and light kitchen/dining room. Insulated with wood fibre insulation, finished with reclaimed bricks from the demolition, electric opening rooflights, aluminium bifolding doors and oak herringbone flooring throughout the ground floor. We installed a new kitchen to the client’s design and put in internal bifolding doors to retain a flexible partition to the more private sitting room.
